Refund policy

Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and our obligations when you buy physical books or digital products from Honey & Crown Publishing Ltd.


Physical Books (Printed)

Change of mind (UK & EU consumers)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your book, without giving any reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us by email at jacquelene@honeyandcrown.com within the 14-day period.

You then have a further 14 days to return the book.

Condition of returned books

You may inspect the book as you would in a physical shop.
If the book has been handled beyond this (e.g. heavily marked, damaged, or clearly used), we may make a reasonable deduction from the refund to reflect any loss in value.

Return postage

  • Return postage for change-of-mind cancellations is your responsibility.

  • We recommend using a tracked service.


Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us as soon as possible if:

  • the book is faulty or damaged, or

  • you received the wrong item.

In these cases:

  • We will arrange or reimburse return postage, and

  • You will receive a full refund or replacement, including any standard delivery charges.


Digital Products (Ebooks)

No right to cancel after delivery

Ebooks are supplied as digital content.

By purchasing an ebook, you:

  • consent to immediate delivery, and

  • acknowledge that you lose your statutory right to cancel once download or access begins.

Refunds for ebooks will only be considered if:

  • the file is defective, or

  • the file cannot be accessed due to a technical fault on our side.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned except where faulty:

  • Digital products (ebooks) once accessed

  • Gift cards

  • Sale items (this does not affect your rights for faulty goods)


Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you wish to change a physical book, please return it in accordance with this policy and place a new order.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect a returned physical book, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item

Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to credit the funds.
